On December 2, 2024, a press conference was held at the Stanford Hotel Seoul for the KBS Joy drama “Sorry Not Sorry”. Attendees included director Min Ji-young and cast members Jeon So-min, Gong Min-jung, Jang Hee-ryung, Choi Daniel, and Kim Moo-joon.

Toward the end of the press conference, Gong Min-jung shared the news of her pregnancy. She said, “I am currently pregnant and preparing for childbirth. Originally, my character was not supposed to be pregnant, but thankfully, the production team adjusted the role. This has allowed me to connect with the character even more deeply, and I feel I can represent mothers in a meaningful way. I would be grateful if you could celebrate this with a warm heart. Earlier, Gong Min-jung married fellow actor Jang Jae-ho on September 6, 2024. Returning to work with “Sorry Not Sorry” after her marriage, Gong Min-jung shared, “This is the first drama I’m working on since getting married in September. Since my husband is also an actor, we can discuss projects and share many things together, which is a big change.

She added, “Before, I had to handle everything on my own, but now I feel like I have a partner to brainstorm and develop ideas with. It’s great. When I told him I was doing this project, he was thrilled. He supports me every day and helps a lot at home, too.
